Y'all too kind. I am just tickled pink that at least one of my kiddos is taking after me and inherited the "gene"

Final tally for today's ride. 9.7 miles. Ignore the time elapsed, we were messing around in a BMX park doing crazy stuff...oh...and we climbed a 12% hill.

We did 12 yesterday.

She looks really happy. Spending time with dad will do that. That said, you should get her a Strava subscription and hook her up with some East German doctors, I'm thinking.

Enjoy them.
Let him learn a love of the sport and develop a passion that he can follow for the rest of his life.
The racing stuff can come later if he wants it to.
My now 16yr old twins learned to ride their bike on the local college, a mix parking lots, paths, and trails. I recently got my son a gravel bike and we went back there as he is getting used to clipless peddles. We spent hours riding on the loops and trails he did over the years as he progressed to mtn biking.

Upon returning to the car, as I put my bike up, he took a last loop around. As we put his bike on the rack, he said "There are so many memories here, I was so scared of the hill in the back when I was little and now it is nothing".

Make the memories with him and share the adventure together.
