Campagnolo Bora One/Ultra 50 vs WTO 60?

I haven't ridden either buy recently I bought a set of Bora WTO 45.

I really like them. The braking is excellent even in the wet, at least as good as aluminum rims. I'm very interested in seeing an independent wind tunnel test. It doesn't seem like it could be as good as it feels to be so I need some hard data.

The 45's are pretty light. Mine weigh about 1470. I tested them against the Enve 6.7s last weekend and thought the weight of the deeper rims was a negative.

This is splitting hairs since they're both awesome, but if you want to use them for a race/crit like scenario with a lot of out of the saddle changes in pace, get the Bora 50s. If you are doing more steady hard riding like being in a breakaway or a TT, get the WTO 60s. They're both awesome, but the non-WTO wheels seem to react to hard efforts a little better, while the WTO 60s seem to roll forever once at speed. If your riding is mostly just chilling and riding easy, get the prettier ones.

Bora as the WTO is not offered in a tubular.

I'm hoping Campy sprinkles some of that WTO tech onto the tubular line of wheels... I guess the whole point of the WTO is the tubeless compatibility.

I have both. Use WTO 45 most days especially if a little windy. Bora one's for fast riding, calm days. Going downhill with a strong sidewind a lot easier on the 45's. If l chose just one l would pick the WTO 45.

I own bora ultra 35, ultra 50 and just purchased WTO 60. The WTO are excellent wheels however the Ultras seem a little more special, especially with the carbon hubs (although nowhere near as impressive as the previous gen’s beautiful one piece carbon hub shell). The WTO’s feel like they hold speed a little better and the 26.5mm rim stretches a corsa 2.0 25mm to 26.2mm. The WTO’s look really cool but lose points for not saying “ultra”.

The WTO’s are fast becoming my favourite wheels and behave extremely well in windy conditions. So well that I am struggling to see the point of the 45’s.

Thanks! Looking for them to be used in draft legal sprint triathlon (20k bike leg), which is kind of an easy crit with TT rules, flat to slightly rolling terrain, overage speed ~24-25 mph.

WTO 60s would be great for that.
