Rock Loster Steel Road

Picked this Rock Lobster road up months ago and have been sitting on it for a while. I finally just got it built up. Trying to figure out if I should keep it or my Supersix. Leaning towards this bike though.

It’s built with “parts bin” stuff, save for the bars and saddle which were purchased for this. I’ll eventually furnish it with 2015 chorus and Vittoria skin walls, I think. The head tube is taller than my cannonade, but this bike is a lot smoother. Chime in if you have an opinion.

Rock Loster Steel Road

I'm close to sending Paul a deposit to reserve some S3 tubes and get in line - keep the Lobster!

If the Cannondale is taller, I'd say keep the Cannondale.

That Rock Lobster looks too small.

Looks great. Are you the original owner? How was the process on tube choice and geometry? I see some mountains in the background. How does it climb versus the cannondale ?

I'm at least the 3rd owner of the bike.

Smoother sounds pretty nice. If each bike fits well and each can work for the kind of riding you'll do, I'd say the Rock Lobster. Good looking bike.

Steel frames just ride so much better on the road. Very quiet.
