To be honest, I agree. I destroyed my Vittoria Evo's and had to put these on to replace them. The Evo's were white/black with white sidewalls and black centerline, it looked much nicer with the black.

My next tires may be the Vittoria Evo green black or white black.

I love classic Italian steel with chrome. Excellent build.

I think she would look better with black shoes though.

Does that stem actually point downward, or is that just the photo angle make it look that way?

Where did you get that sweet rainbow finishing tape for the bars. Man I would really like to get my hands on some of that.

Thanks for postin'
Thanks! The stem is not 90 Deg, it has a slight down slope.

The bar tape is NOS from the 80's and comes with the stripes, I got three rolls a wile back on Ebay, its a complete mess to use because all the glue is old and very sticky. A mix of goo gone, alcohol, and towels allow me to actually wrap it without getting glue everywhere. I also keep old bartape underneath for a larger diameter. Its a bit if a process but its all hobby work.

Please post a photo when you have it complete. I love Casati, had a really nice Laser a couple years back.

I had a Casati Goldline a few years ago. It was too nice a bike for me to ride.

I think you will love it more with the facelift.
