The Mavics have been consigned to the parts bin. Glad I got likely one of the last sets of pre-Cane Creek eeBrakes. And, of course, the cable lives on! Naturally, the first ride has to involve some Marin gravel, right?

man, they are such good brakes BUT a PAIN to clean.

Not surprised. friend of mine switched from EPS to Etap and says he'll never go back. Great looking bike and no cables/junction box is soooooooo clean

Man that thing is clean...I keep telling myself I'll stick with full mechanical but then I see etap builds like this without any of those distracting cables!

Are you planning on switching the crankset to a matching Sram one?

Nope. Works great with the Campy one, and with the Campy cassette and chain. Wouldn't know they were mismatched parts unless you looked at the logos.

Just the usual Fizik 2mm stuff. Didn't even know which color Michael had picked as he was working on the build at Above Category. Left it up to him, and he did a killer job with it I think.
