$169 for a used headset?
I have a few CK headsets but never bought a new one. If this is what they go for, I'm going to be ordering a few FSAs and liquidating the CKs.

I think they believe the brown color is "rare" so deserves a better price?

Brown, limited color. It also includes the spacer kit. I would bet an Olive package would go for about the same.

In general I think used 1 1/8" CK headsets in common colors go for $75-$95.

hmm, the brown looks kinda like the color that the black components on really really cheap bikes turn eventually I guess from UV. Bronze-ish.

It states very clearly that these are KING CHRIS headset, not CHRIS KING. I believe they are an upgrade from the QUEEN CHRIS headset.

I have an old weathered King 1-inch threaded headset. Not sure if it was black or brown...

I dig the patina, though!

I think most people's bikes don't quite see enough UV to turn the black to brown, but any black anodizing will turn brown, not just cheap anodizing. You can speed up the process with a torch, so if anyone wants to increase the value of their CK headset by turning it brown, let me know.
