Remember Hooker Elite ??

This was my main lust bike back in the day. If only...

I remember the track funny bikes by Hooker. Still have no idea how anyone could ride in that low of a position.

Those were as exotic as exotic got back in the day. Put some 19c tires on, pump 'em up to 140 p.s.i., and ride like real men rode back in the day. Briko glasses optional.

One of the local Masters rider had one of these. He was a former national TT champ. Musta been the bike.

The aero bar/stem combo is crazy looking.

I can't recall ever seeing an alloy aero seat post like this one either.

Nah. It's taped together. It'll be fine.

The ad says DA 7400 front and rear derailleurs, but 9 speed shifters. DA 7400 was 8 speed - how does this even work? What am I missing?

did they really mean for that bike to be used with drops, or was it meant to be used with aerobars/bullhorn? That's the only way it makes sense to me. I saw a bike set up like this with drops recently, but when I searched for images everyone had an upright bar or even riser bars on the examples that were being ridden.

Hooker cat 1

Hi

I must be getting old I thought they were all steel and fast Red.
The one I rode had two different size wheels and just Aero bars no
Outer hand holds.
It was a last minute ride my bike frame broke, scared to death for 40 K

It works because the “8-speed” refers to 8-speed DURA-ACE spacing with a DA7400 rear derailleur. The limit screws lock out the extra click. They are 9-speed for everything else, including 9-speed Dura-Ace.

How about this one? I know the owner, and gently tried to correct his pricing. Didn't work.
