Sourcing Campagnolo 11sp?

Havent been too active here lately, riding instead of buying which is a good thing!

Having said that, in 2017 I finally broke down and bought a Record mechanical 11sp after still happily riding Record 10sp on most of my other bikes. And the next year 12spm comes out ……

Now it seems Record 11sp is rare as hens teeth online? Trying to find 11sp cassettes, chainrings wear items, as well as maybe a few more 11sp gruppos…. What am I missing seems hard to find? (Im in Canada)

Any sources of new Record or Chorus 11sp gruppos and wear items still out there? Any links appreciated….

Cheers, everybody stay upright and enjoy the ride…

Many of the usual UK retailers have some stock of 11spd consumables. Locally here in Canada you can try Labicicletta.com but be prepared for some serious sticker shock.

I've ordered some Campy 11s parts from Starbike recently, and before that Probikekit. Starbike has 11s cranks and cassettes available. I haven't seen any full groups recently from anyplace, you'd probably need to put together from different online sources.

Campy 11s

I've always used Shimano for my consumables. Ultegra Cassettes and KMC chains are perfect on my Campy 11s setups, and easy to find, cheap to replace, etc.

Yup. The beauty of 11s is that it all plays together nicely.

Cassettes and Chains

Yeah, cassettes and chains play nicely. I have always used Ultegra Cassettes and find the pricepoint/value is perfect, they are much nicer than 105 cassettes and much quieter. You can always go Dura Ace if you want too... or Red...

I've been using KMC x.93 chains if i recall with quick links, but any 11s chain will work well, 105, ultegra, KMC all decent in my book so you can go with your favorite.

I've always bought wheels with Shimano FHB and i only run campagnolo, just toss an 11s cassette on and you're good to go...

Ya. It's also a dream when switching 11s wheels between bikes. Assuming not having to fiddle with caliper due to too much of rim width difference, it's plug and play.

So I can take my shimano freehub wheelset with a Dura Ace cassette and it will work with 2017 Record Shifters, dont have to worry about any spacers etc?
Just confirming…
Thanks dudes!

Should be fine. Assuming both are 11 speed, should be plug and play.

I used to move wheels back and forth between my eTap 11s bike and my SR11 bike. I had carbon and alloy wheels and liked using different wheels on different depending on whatever ride I was doing.

I really need to try this again. The one time I swapped wheels between my Sachs (11-sp Record) and Strong (11-speed Ultegra...or maybe it was after that got changed to 11-sp eTap, but still) it was like chalk & cheese: Neither drivetrain wanted to work smoothly!

I am a dyed in the wood campy guy (in Toronto) and have the word mark tattoo to prove it. And even I used Shimano cassettes on my cross bike and my trainer. Integration is seamless and replacement parts are much cheaper than campy.
