I watch stages of the Cape Epic silent and listen to music. There 3+ hours long, so you can get two rides per stage, they have many years on Youtube. Great scenery, terrific racing, etc. And I guess that makes me a wannabe.

Dave, I've been putting some of my rides to music for years. I've assembled a playlist that includes, road, gravel, MTB, and fat biking in the winter. Here's a link. They're a mix of group rides and solo rides. One video will lead right into the next. Mute them or allow the music to work with the edited scenes. Here are some samples.
