I would pick whatever one aesthetically is most pleasing to YOU since everyone here has their own opinions on level TT’s and sloping. Only you can determine stiffness differences on those bikes.

disclaimer: I've never ridden a Moots.

but, from a purely aesthetic POV, the SL would be my choice.

I have an SL and an RSL. LOVE BOTH. The RSL is way stiffer than any other Ti bike I’ve ridden - I’ve ridden a lot. I had a CR. The SL and CR are really close. I like the look of your SL. Once your riding you will never notice a difference. It’s just aesthetics. Good luck.

Ridden and owned a few different titanium bikes. I'm only 5'8 and 200lb give or take. My experience with the larger tube diameters on ti definitely made them feel stiffer up front than my old 1 1/8" bikes.

Would the old 1-1/8 ht be from an older ti frame? The new bikes I’ve been riding are using larger diameter top down and chain stays. I would agree that older ti in general is more forgiving (can be made this way) however a newer ti bike with a 1-1/8 ht is just as stiff to me. Anyway I’d build up that CR op- and ride it!

Kent Eriksen had a 1.5 degrees top tube slope on Moots for decades.

Really depends on the fit. Standover vs 'required or asked for', head tube length. On my Vamoots..I had this standover(don't remember what it was) but asked for a fairly long headtube..so got a sloping top tube..

Yes, one was a 2003 vamoots and the other was a 1999 serotta concours. Both were great riding bikes.

Stock vamoots, obviously custom was different, but stocks bikes had a slight tick and a half of slope - even in 1999!

it was time for the alteration...

after 10 years of riding my SL i make the move to the CR. and it was worth it, way stiffer and better to pilot.

the SL frameset keep the place in my heart (and under my bed).

Yeah, if I had to pick just one it'd be that one for that reason.
