I have the routing tool but it was hardly ever used, I guess I will be doing a lot of practice soon...

Of course, the answer is always SRAM AXS.

But I am doing Shimano Di2 ...I would even go mechanical if that's an option.

I still have a 2015 Crux and I recently put Apex AXS on it, great bike other than the clearance! Fun project.

What does it have before you upgraded to AXS?

I tried the 650b, a 650x42 will kiss the chainstays.

I also didnt like it - it had a very weird pneumatic trail going on and it was a touch too low.

Is that a 52 or 54cm frameset? Isn't that way too small for you?

No... even smaller, it's a 49!

I am contortionist expert, don't you already know?

Makes sense.

I already have two gravel Ti bikes that can handle fatter tires, this one is more for relatively calm and smooth mixed surface riding and the pathfinder 38mm is perfect for that.

you want to go Ultra Torque?

***free bb alert***

If you want to go Campy UT on the BB, I have a NIB Praxxis bb that is this crazy standard... I bought it accidentally and you may be the only one who has a frame... you'd need to use Ultra Torque, though.

PM me your address if you're interested and I'll send it to you, gratis.

What is this, a ruse to trick me into going over to the dark side??
Everyone here knows I am a diehard shimano fan, never!

Just kiddin'

I do have a very nice Campy crank waiting in line...and for the record, I think Campagnolo has the best looking crankset in the business.

Wei Pal,

This pic should tell you the story of what you have and what you need to install that SRAM Red BB30 crankset with integrated Spider.

If you buy BB30 bearings, they should come with (2) little retaining clips that go into the pre-cut slots inside the BB shell. They will also come with bearing covers which should be installed.

Here is the manual for installing the crankset:
https://www.sram.com/globalassets/do...manual-eeu.pdf

Start on Page 6 for BB30 bearing install. Super easy, insert clips, press in bearings, add bearing covers.

Then Page 9 outlines the spacers you might need (you are the first row --Carbon arm w/
integrated spider)
-NO Drive SIDE SPACERS
-Non-Drive Side - 30mm Wave Washer & (3) ±2 0.5 mm shims
-NO NON DRIVE PRELOAD ADJUSTER, you'll use the shims to get that dialed.

Here's the BB bearings with retaining clips and bearing covers for example:

BB30 bearings in a carbon shell? Didnt know they did that - my frame has an aluminum shell in it.

I think this frame is one of the earlier PF30 frames though.

Looks like Spesh OSBB S-Works, which is different from non S-Work of that time. As in Varbon shell only on S-Works frames. different ID i think than thre metal BB ones.

i have 2014 S-Works Roubaix, exactly same OSBB..
