My Respo -

Bought here -- can't imagine ever parting with it. For a while, I felt bad about minor blemishes from riding it, then i decided that was kind of the point. However, now sporting campy and old spud built wheels, also kind of the point.

It's much better once you get over that first scratch/ding because then you fully accept that's just part of actually riding a bike. I love staring at bikes, but can't imagine having one too pretty to ride.

Scratched my 11 Duende (Leftover from a shop that I picked up this spring) when installing the HS LOL.

Tonight, it propelled me to second place at the town line. I just didn't have the legs to beat the 15-year-old who handed me my ass. He's a good kid and a strong rider who lives and loves bikes ... but damn, I wanted to beat him tonight lol

On Tuesday, the day of Dario's services not too many kilmeters south, my Peg took me from Bormio, up and over the Stelvio, down a long valley to Bolzano. 140km. 5500 ft. Who says a Marcelo can't be an all day long, day after day bike!

First, I really like your Pegoretti. Second, that is a challenging but wonderful and memorable day of riding you had. Bormio, the Stelvio and the Gavia are just IT.

2014 58cm stock Duende Somebody

HUGE thanks to seanile for posting about Belmont Wheelworks for having inventory on Pegs. I have wanted a Peg for years but could never afford one - I can't even afford one now, but I bought this new Duende frameset yesterday anyways. The last 52 that they had.

Nice pickup! I contemplated doing the same thing... don't think I will... but maybe I'll change my mind.
