Right? Not a full nuke sunset, and to me it is very seasonal, early-summer colours (at least in these parts).

I think I'll stick with black wheels (not these, will lace some white industries to... something), now that I've got the frame fitted up a bit more.

No 10-speed cassettes in suitable gearing at the LBS (12-27 shimano/sram for now, until I get campy wheels built), so it will probably be stuck here for a while while a cassette arrives (and I'm travelling for work all next week). So while I wait for that to arrive, the final big decision: saddle and bartape colour!

Not a bad afternoon to play hooky and squeeze in a quick shakedown ride...

A proper ride today. Fit is perfect. This bike is extremely well behaved: stable when sprinting (in and out of saddle), but doesn't demand a lot of body English to steer. Even with the straight max fork and straight stays, the ride is so smooth - not supple or cushioned, but never trying to buck me off over rough roads (the Paris Roubaix tires which measure out to ~30mm help I'm sure, and I'm looking forward to getting some slightly wider rims on as well). My expectations have been utterly exceeded. Tim @granville_bicycles has knocked it so far out of the park! https://www.instagram.com/p/BMcKWQHh...ken-by=mywynne
