Custom tall stack stem

So who would be the best choice for a custom tall stack stem with a removable faceplate?
I know VO has them but I may be looking for a different angle and probably to be powdered instead of polished.
Thanks Brian

Depending on how tall and long and assuming you 1000% know what you want - soulcraft

Jeremy Sycip built one for me with integrated brake cable stop. No handy pic of it powdered.

Paul Sadoff at Rock Lobster built a custom angled steel stem for me last year. Incredibly affordable, at $150.

Impeccable welds. Matched the powdercoat of my existing frame, which was not a Rock Lobster.

I don't know if the black faceplate is available in other colors.

What size? I have a nice lugged one from Shamrock Cycles. I'd have to check on size. It's orange, but could be repainted of course.

I believe our own @8aaron8 at ARCycles does them, out of Sacramento.

Some pretty serious stem porn here.

Nice.

I've got a couple of NOS Cinelli Frog stems stashed away for my Colnago Master Olympic build. Not sure whether I'll use the Frog or a Cinelli XA. All my "newer" bikes have Cinelli NEO bars and stems (not NEOS).

Sim works and Crust both have tall stack stems that are powder coated. Might be worth checking into before you go custom.

Paul does good work! if you want a removable faceplate, the thing gets chunky. the single bolt is elegant, but it makes it hard to swap handlebars. the velo orange stem is pretty well proportioned.
