Threaded headset help

I'm having trouble finding a headset to work because of low stack. I'm checking my measurements. Will this work?

Headtube on bike is 10.5 cm.
Steer tube is 14 cm

Headset is 35.6 mm

This is for a 1 inch threaded with quill stem

Tange Levin headsets are very low stack
also, a top race that has a recess for the keyed spacer will bring the stack down a bit

I think you have a bunch of headsets that are 35.0 stack height....

Campagnolos are like that, several shimano are like that... 35mm is like the usual stack height....

If you arent partial to any brand I would advice you to find one of those shimano 105sc, 600 or a dura-ace... then I would go campagnolo which the last iterations of those are still around for descent pricing.

Stack is 35.6mm...

10.5- 14 = 3.5... u are off for tiny bit... IMO it should work just fine, worse case scenario u might have the leave the washer off the set up. BUt I think you will be ok.

It will work. Just check that the cups and the crownrace fits your frame tho... thosecampagnolo headsets are ISO.

If you have a JIS frame and fork it wont work.

It's for a Merckx MXL. I pretty sure it is ISO.

That's gonna be close. .6mm too tall according to your specs. I don't like it.

Agree..'may' be able to find a really thin HS spacer..or don't use one..as the 'stack' normally includes a spacer. OR, you 'can' 'face' the headtube .6mm, Face the top, not the bottom, and get that .6mm..done that more than once.

True but those low stack shimano HS' are cup and ball, not cart bearing ones, which are in the 38mm stack height range. 7410 is 37.6mm stack.
