N3W freehub for Wahoo trainer?
Is there any N3W (Campy Ekar 13s) freehub body that can be used with a Wahoo Kickr?
I don't see that Wahoo makes one, but maybe there is third-party unit that would work. |

I havent seen one either...
I doubt Wahoo makes the freehub they are using, I wonder if it is an off the shelf freehub body from someone like Bitex? I am in the process of building up a bike with Ekar, and am hoping I will at least be able to use it on trainer in ERG mode with the 11 speed cassette... |

I asked about using an old one. No dice with that. Think I could have ordered one for 11, but I doubt they've got anything for the 13.

Good idea. I wonder if Bitex might actually be right…the base of the Bitex N3W body looks very similar to the Wahoo body, though the Bitex has 6 pawls and the Wahoo has 3. It might worth the experiment…. https://www.bitexhubs.com/htm/pd_detail.php?no=R07-VHA2 https://www.wahoofitness.com/devices...lo-freehub-buy |

The Wahoo Shimano freehub looks extremely similar to the Novatecs. I had a HED freehub and a Powertap freehub that both interchanged completely with a Novatec so I suspect there is a common source for all of these.

I was at least able to get my bike to work in ERG mode on my trainer. I didn't have to mess with the derailleur at all, just shifted into a gear that lined up well.
So while I can't shift the bike on the trainer, at least I can do structured training/workouts in ERG mode. I was hoping to do more of a structured training plan this winter anyways. |
