Thats my man. I have seen that a few times and it is shockingly bad no matter how fit you are. And I am not.

I guess why not just ride in the bibs alone? edit- someone beat me to it. Don't think it's really that big of a deal, at the end of the day we all look silly in the eyes of the average joe.

That would be a resounding "NO" -

On the plus side, the pallor of my upper arms would act as reflectors and just might alert oncoming cars before my blinky-flashy.

Add some shiny vinyl boots and some knee pads. And then ride around going "Woooooooooo!" like Ric Flair.

Someone please do this. Because it would be awesome.

So many great options.

in the late 80s, my fave jersey was a sleeveless job. hi-vis yellow, 3/4 zip, 3-pockets.

thought I looked the bizness in it...

now every time I see a photo of me wearing it, I wince...ugh.

I agree with Ryan.. get some Endo-made bibs with pockets... These guys aren't selling them anymore but you can get them direct through Endo..

I bought a few pairs of these, Pearl Izumi cargo bibs. They have pockets sewn in the outer thigh and lumbar areas.

I wear them when I mountain bike so I can just wear a t-shirt and still have clif bar or gel handy.

Ive got one. Wife gave to me when I was much younger and ahem...built better. I took it out the other day. Yellow 3 pockets nicely made. I started laughing so hard I snorted.
