Does Mips fit diffrently?
I have been wearing Giro helmets for a long time, the fit was perfect for my noggin.
I just bought a Giro with Mips and it seems pretty uncomfortable, like it's pinching the side of my head, is this just the way it is with Mips and I just need to deal with it, or did Giro maybe change the shape of their helmets or something?

Good question. I find that my 4 MIPS helmets dig into my scalp. One helmet hits hard right at the occipital bone

Mips
Yes- In my experience they do fit differently.
It feels like they have to make the shell larger and deeper to fit all the MIPS stuff in- I felt like my MIPS helmets tended to rock around when I was on bumpy surfaces, particularly offroad. I used to wear a Specialized Prevail that was perfect- The MIPS version seemed to fit loose and sloppy compared to non-MIPS. I am currently back on non-MIPS helmets. I have a Lazer G1, and also an Abus Airbreaker.
