For me Italy looked really good. Their midfield was better than expected. and they have received as many own goals as the Germans

And Belgium w/out De Bruyne looked good too at least as good as the French.

Apparently ESPN+ is only "alternative feed" until the semifinals, so four squares from different camera angles, pretty difficult to watch the game that way.

lol my dad told me about this, apparently Coke is pissed about it.

Hate him or love him, he is a character and a healthy one (maybe a little too healthy).

One can understand why if the value goes down by roughly 4000000000,00 usd as the paper said this morning .)

Got it; thanks for clarifying. In that case, some terrible advertising by ESPN.

I subscribed to ESPN+ to watch the Bundesliga and a few Serie A matches, so I got the mailer from ESPN, saying that ESPN+ would have coverage of the Euros, but it was really low on details.

And here I though I was wasting $$$ by getting an actual cable package for the month, whereas in reality, it is what's needed.

i'm sure coke is only mad because they didn't have a Danasi bottle there instead. Fun fact: when they released Dasani in the UK they used the tagline 'it's full of spunk.' I let you google what that word means in the UK.

Well, there's a surprise start.

Not sure how sustainable all this high pressing is, though.

Re Ronaldo, I agree with Ozzy--someone at Coke could turn this into a win with a smart Dasani campaign. Something something silver-service-to-the-scorer pun, product + star, buy now.

Denmark might just rue the chances not taken earlier.

Wow. Belgium's first 3 subs are Witsel, DeBruyne & Hazard. Completely changed the game.

Denmark played well. Kudos to them. A tie would not have been an unfair result for either side.

So, why are they calling it "UEFA Euro 2020"? I get that there was not a tournament last year....but are we forever a year off now??

Weird....sorry for the drift.

Has anyone EVER seen a short corner result in a goal similar to the one Wales scored against Turkey? In fact, Wales almost scored two of them...

I didn't watch the game today, but in general a short corner will cause me to complain out loud about wasting a corner kick. As my wife and kids could tell you.
