There is no option for ti. Its a Rock Lobster and it will be steel. It will require paint in some form.

There are some powdercoats that have a silver finish. Whether they come across as polished and shiny as chrome, I don't know.

I'll add check prismatic powder colours. They have shiny silvers plus other colours. They must have one that reads as chrome. Or maybe try a shiny silver with a wet high gloss clear to punch it out.

I thought about doing this (add chrome or chrome effect to stays and match this to fork) for a steel Ritchey breakaway.

I went the easy route - similar to this https://velocals.com/chrome-chain-st...ade-in-france/ for chain stay; replaced carbon fork (Ritchey fork was flexy) with Tange chrome steel for of almost identical measurement.

Was happy with result as got me close to intended look

Funny, the local newspaper just ran an article yesterday about these guys, who did (what I believe to be) a PVD process on a CF bike.

More details here

My local painter has used this before

https://alsacorp.com/product-category/chrome-paints/

We get chrome paint and chrome illusions paint from them also.

The PVD process is as close as you will get with a spray on application.

I'd argue it is actually easier to wrap a ferrari than a bike. Tubes are hard to wrap and hide the seams. The junctions even more challenging.

My Columbus Spirit HSS bike is done in a Cromovelato finish.

See here on the way it is done. https://youtu.be/PkaGY2xuT3s

Antonio Tabarin, (Tony Spray) in Italy did this frame and it is magnificent. He even did the Columbus fork in a blue lacquer. He left the Barco name in Chromeplate along with the Columbus bird on the bottom of the ST.

A pic from this past weekends ride.

That is great looking paint. Would it be durable? I think it look fragile, unfortunately.

I would love Cromovelato pink or silver for that iridescent effect.

There is superchrome powdercoat but it gets pretty bad looking after some wear or it comes into contact with (???) alcohol
