Looking for help with chain/ cassette install in MD

Hey all!

New member here. My dad (a long-time forum member) recommended I hop on to see if there was any support for a minor install in the Rockville MD area. I don't mind if it's a decent drive away really. Would appreciate getting to network too since I recently moved here from RI.

Cheers!

I'm in DC and don't know much about the Rockville area, but Proteus in College Park is well regarded.

Welcome to the forum!

Do you not have the tools to do the job, or do you lack the experience/confidence to try it yourself?

I bet that with a bit more information we could walk you through either issue.

Also, there's tons of good info here:

It's never too early or too late to start your bike tool collection...

Finally, don't you want to get some advice from this guy?
(He isn't as grumpy as he looks...)

The bicycle place is pretty good. They are in Silver Spring, close to White Flint.

Try Evo Bikes in Rockville: https://evocycleworks.com/

My wife had mishap on her bike and they were able to source and replace one of the spokes on her Shimano wheels, which still rolls true. We were also impressed with how great their custom service was.

All American bikes in Damascus and Just riding along bikes in laytonsville are two of the better shops in the area. 123 bikes (144 bikes) in Mt Airy does on the spot repairs. I can help if you want to wait till mid week.

Hey, I really appreciate the responses everyone! I have a few places to check out now and I'm getting some help with PMing mcfarton since it looks like I don't have the ability to do that since I'm so new. Cheers!
