A very interesting ride. Position feels nice. Super comfy. This may be the one that gets parked in Sac for occasional rides on the AR trail and beyond.

Frameset is 8/5/8 tig'd up by Waterford - it's some seriously skinny steel. 1" threadless fork. Should fit 32-35c tires, just haven't tested yet. Have scrawny 25s on there now.

Build is Chorus 10 that's in very good condition. NOS Record headset. Fizik R1 stem and post. Romin EVO saddle. Record hubs to A23 wheels. Nitto cages. 3T Ergonova bars w polished center.

It feels pretty light and lively.

Yeah, that doesn’t suck.

Really nice black/silver balance. Makes me wonder how a silver group would look on my otherwise black MXL.

It always looks great - just depends on what you prefer in your hands and if you need the lower gears for your area. I think Rob J still has a group the same as mine for sale...

I don't know if it's a good thing that this was a "parts on hand" build done in a couple hours...

I keep saying I'm going to clear out the cabinets and yet I still have way more on hand than needed.

As if you're worried the opportunity won't come around again..

It is a fun scoot for sure. And easy on the eyes.

Ok, I'm not that worried. But I do have a high zoot piece incoming so my road needs should be met for the next year at least.
