Same same, two sets to glue, but one is for my Eroica wheels so not feeling much sense of urgency. Also, we've had an unusually rainy couple of weeks and I don't like gluing indoors even with good ventilation.

Didn’t have enough for a full bike, so here we landed.

Thomson Elite Seatpost 27.2
Kirk brass barrel adjuster
Rails from an old Selle Italia
Metal restaurant straw trimmed down

Some GREAT projects out there.
My plan was to clean up a bunch of bike parts for selling, but then reality struck and I figured I should probably wait a bit for that.
I then went out and put some sealant in my mountain bike tires since it rained last night and the trails would be perfect. As I was putting air in them, the heavens opened and it’s raining again, so the trails will be closed. Put bike back in garage.
Current fallback is learning how to play a couple of Smiths tunes on the guitar.
Beer drinking to commence at 5 PM, or maybe 4 PM.

We're in Portland helping our son prep his house for selling. I'm mostly unskilled labor. I did much of the demo in the bathtub:

though Chris reframed everything and installed the tile:

Ellen's been painting. I'm currently scratching and scraping old wallpaper in one room. (Man, it's easy to get distracted from a boring job like that. Keep up the distractions Paceline peeps. ) Lots of trips to Home Depot.

We're in the process of ripping out old plants and putting in new ones in our front flower beds along our wall. Rained out today, though.

We wave at the neighbors as they walk by. Everyone's been pretty good about keeping a social distance.

Except the greyhound.

Cool. My first real wheels were Mavic gp4 laced to suntour superbe pro.

My project Is veloflex tubs mated to my old potatoe built tied and soldered ambrosio nemesis to campy hubs. Bombproof if there ever such a thing.

Already looking forward to the smell.

I hear you. I would just suggest that, for me, with regard to life's deeper questions, the minute you 'open your mouth', you've missed it. Cheers.

On bikes, I'll be rebuilding my brodie and turning up the others
Congratulations on the incoming!!!

Speaking from experience, tinted primer is your friend in that situation.

Wife and I went on a nice long bike ride together, which we haven’t done in a while. I had been doing a lot of swim workouts lately, so nice to change it up since the pools are closed.
Otherwise, I put new speakers and a head unit in on of our cars. Didn’t really need to, but I wanted better phone integration.
And just catching up on other random things around the house.
Hope to get out on a few more rides!
