pbarry...of course...some real movies on there...greatest ever made...good time to watch real things rather than being jacked off over such stuff in our modern world...perhaps a time to educate self rather than being entertained...losing cause I know...seriously, if not now...will never be when...watch some of those old movies...those folks had a lot to say...be glad to give a serious list...but I doubt anyone gives a sh..t...different days and learning...

For sure. I realized how bad the content is a while ago. I start watching too many shows that I never finish.

Watched "The Other Guys" with the family last night. Mindlessly funny.

We had a good deal for a while--we can get NYC library cards even though we are in the 'burbs--and with that came access to Kanopy (and that included access to classic films from Criterion)--I did get to watch some stuff that I haven't seen in years or classics I had never seen.

Then the library decided it was too expensive and stopped the service...

I've been watching Altered Carbon on Netflix--yet another fairly mediocre sci-fi thing filmed in my old home town (one of the sports is trying to identify local landmarks in these productions). Pretty lame--but it is mainly just 'unwind' material..

I really enjoyed Unbelievable (I think Netflix), thought Fleabag was extraordinary as well... And for a network show, I enjoyed "The Good Place"

Ultimate Restorations

Ultimate Restorations is really good. Can watch on Amazon prime. The attentions to detail and the process involved in these projects is pretty amazing

Don’t forget that there’s lots of great tv content on YouTube. Have a preference for British humour? Try out Would I Lie to You? Love that show.

Thanks for this thread, we are new to Netflix (yes consider us old geysers) and began a series last night. So great to turn off the depression stations

I've been liking "The Good Place" if you're looking for something very light

We've caught up on "Picard" (CBS on Demand) the last few days. It's pretty solid. We're down to the last episode of the first season. Romulans, Borg, Synths and Seven of Nine. Not bad.

I've been a bit burned out on TV for the last couple of years, but will probably catch up on a few shows/movies that I've tuned out or forgotten about. Better Call Saul, Atlanta, and Westworld will be high on the list. Although, a steady stream of comedy might be a better choice.

Suburra: Blood on Rome is a great series IMO. There is also a movie, Suburra - the series is the prequel to the movie.

There's a new documentary on Netflix that I just watched and really enjoyed; A Life of Speed: The Juan Manuel Fangio Story.
