I put about 200 miles on a Cervelo Aspero this week. It's a nice ride on both dirt and pavement.

Specialized Diverge. Up to 42C ,38C with fenders and unless you are racing for pts or money you won't be blaming the bike for getting dropped. AND it is brilliant for gravel and even mild dirt. Not cheap but it has the potential to stop N+1 for quite a while.

maybe 1x
Have queried Basso about this...frame does have a bolted on 1x chain hanger and one review commented it could be run as a 2x

Parlee?
I forgot about the Parlee. It is also a nice road/gravel bike.
Takes big tires but still feels very light and nimble on the road. When I had mine- I rode it as a road bike for 2 weeks while in Hawaii. Did Haleakala and all that sort of thing. And you can find the post mount older versions for cheap. If you don't mind post mount brakes this can make for a sweet bike for small $. The only thing I didn't like about the Parlee was their headset cover. It tends to move off center and it it is a pool for water if you ride in the rain or hose off the bike. Once I pulled my bike off the hook and a bunch of rusty water dumped out. |

When the Fuji Jari Carbon finally arrives for consumers (later this fall) it'll have a 950g one-piece frame, clearance for 47mm tires, either 1x or 2x, and 15mm of rear travel.

I have been riding this Argon 18 Dark Matter for a while now, and it is a great bike. Room for 700x48mm tires, and rides very well both on and off-road. It is not light however; by my estimates, the frame and fork are around 1.9 kg in size Large. The bike as shown is 21 lbs (though nothing on it is really light).

It also rides really nice. I was very close to buying one last fall, I just wanted better 650b tire clearance.

Can’t say enough good things about the Ibis Hakka. It’s nimble, it’s adaptable to 1x and 2x, frames are prices right and the most important thing is that it has a threaded oversize BB (t47).
I think running any pressfit with a gravel, cx or any bike which often goes thru water, mud and sand is really challenging. Cleaning up the bb cups periodically from all the dirts is for me a necessity. I am dying to buy the new Open Wi.De but the pressfit BB was a dealbreaker for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There are some well made aftermarket “screw together” BB adapters for press fit frames. Wheels manufacturing makes a few.https://wheelsmfg.com/bottom-brackets.html
