New Speedvagen in progress

After hopping around on various stock 56 SVs, I finally bit the bullet and ordered a fresh custom one from the Vanilla Workshop. I need just a bit steeper STA, with a slighter longer tt and this adds up to a good bit more reach. Combine it with a slightyl shorter headtube and I am good to go.
Still Waiting on parts but here are some in process shots:

Speedvagen Custom with the Superlight package and the Harsh conditions upgrade to help deal with Florida humidity

Enve 4.5 with DT hubs painted to match and SV skewers with a little green to match

Hell yeah.

Love the matching paint on the hubs/skewers and bar-stem combo.

Speedvagen doesn't assemble the bike as part of the purchase, or is that an upcharge? I thought they only sold complete (with parts, built) bikes.

You are right on both counts. Bikes are normally assembled and adjusted.
This was a special one off menu.

Yeah. 10 years and a lot of bikes will do that. Plus I got a bunch of goodies so it was worth it to them. Not sure it saved me anything but I wanted campy with 5arm so I could run 54/42

Here are a few of the extras worked up by Busyman

Selle Italia SLR

Custom bartape

Custom Saddle bag

Yes the superlight upgrade includes:
carbon seat tube
carbon seat topper
Enve 1.0 fork
Lighter top tube

I actually had the same scheme on my custom di2 respray 5 years ago but in matte. in gloss it really pops.

You don't eff around. Much respect for those choices - including the 1.125" non-tapered HT - I think it just looks better given the size of the other tubes (vs. say my Battaglin, which has a massive DT and therefore the tapered HT works).

Anyway, excited to see the final build.

Damn that is super nice. Can't wait to see the full build and a ride report comparing it to your other incredible bikes. Your stuff never ceases to amaze.

That looks outstanding!

I am partial to SR12 there :-)

The complimentary parts are the icing, those skewers!
