Serotta Concours CS

In route to me is a beautiful Serotta Concours CS with the 12K seat stay. Really looking forward to trying out a Ti tubed bike. The build will be as follows

SN: CCN-53-600 I think a 2007 model? (haven't seen much info on the CN Serial number, any insight would be very helpful)
Serotta F3 Fork EightFive NOS
Sram Etap Full group
Sram 172.5 Crankset with 50/34 Chainrings
Sram 1190 11-28 Cassette
Chris King headset
Zipp stem
Zipp bars
Zipp seat post
Sella Italian Carbono saddle
HED Ardennes + SL wheelset
25mm tires (maybe take it up to 28mm?)
Shimano Pedals
King bottle cages?

The black you see is a vinyl overlay. I am probably going to strip that off down to the bar Ti frame and working with Mac on a decal set to possible match this in either Rose Gold or Polished Silver with Concours CS in the same script type as Legend Ti. Found this is Dan's thread and love the clean elegant look. Hopefully Etap chuncky-ness doesn't ruin that.

Pink tape will be gone....

I loved my old Concours. It is still to this day one of my favorite bikes. It was the first bike I had ever ridden 100 miles on and had great all day comfort and good power transfer. The carbon stay version with a 1 1/8 headset should be an awesome ride!

Very cool and promising! My Ottrott is my favorite ride I have had. Can't wait to see how this sizes up. How did you like the Concours vs your Legend Ti? Plus and minus?

The Colorado ti I had was too big for me, so wouldn't really be able to compare, but for the most part the only significant difference between a Legend and a Concours was the top tube is swaged on the Legend and not on the Concours.

Me too. Mine was a Concours OS that I bought here, rode for 10 years and then sold. I believe it's back on the Paceline now.
