More importantly, it has that hidden frickin washer. If you take the chainring off, know that there’s a washer between the spider and the arm. It’s really thin and without it your chainring is out of true.

Here's the time line-
2003-Chorus non-hdden 5th arm for aluminum. First year of Record Carbon.
Odd ball, only one year, known to creak. BB spindle flats rotated 45 degrees compared to Record ALU.
2004-First year Chorus alu with hidden arm. New Carbon cranks for Record and Chorus. Record and Chorus alu same, hidden arm.
2005-CT cranks start..CT for Record and Chorus carbon..'full size' alu cranks for Record and Chorus(hidden arm)
2006-same as 2005
2007-first year of UltraTorque, external BBs.

So..that Chorus crank is 2004-2006

I probably would never have noticed myself. In fact I just went through all my bike pics to see....

Just the Record setup on the Team Z Lemond.

All these years I also thought the 5th hidden arm was exclusive to Record.
Learn something new everyday.
