Gaggi is a spammer. Interestingly, he (she? it?) only has three posts since May.

can newbies post links here? I know people hate it when they have to wait a couple of days before they can post links, but it makes spamming a lot more expensive.

Odd.
They probably get paid via affiliate links. find a new forum...search religion and promote the church....search for nutrition and promote whatever they were hawking. Across all the forums Gaggi is on, if he posts 100x in a day, that's 100 affiliate links sitting out there on more or less evergreen content.

At that rate, Gaggi could get a free cup of coffee every day.

Doesn't even need to be an affiliate link, it's because search algorithms rank a site's overall ranking based on how many other sites link to them. The more "clout" you create by generating links from other sites, the higher the search rankings go.

The link should be deleted altogether really, because the ranking algos work in reverse as well, when your site is flagged w/ a bunch of spam links.

Thanks for the info, I'll remove the links.

Lawssons is a spammer: https://forums.thepaceline.net/showp...6&postcount=16.

I only noticed it because he/she/it just bumped up an OT thread (soon to include a spam link as well) as a second post on the forum: https://forums.thepaceline.net/showt...72#post3215272.

Spammer macmall has hit on a new tactic: insert the spam link into the quoted post.

Spam handrolls are a post-ride treat, we love! But nope, I don't spam posts, just kids!

Well, bow down if you must, but it's a real bike, and I weigh as much as it does! You can kind of see it the the little decorative photo.

PS - This thread IS kind of dangerously old...
