I found this Colorado III in the back of the shop while looking for a pair of wheels for the latest project. I'd almost forgotten about it. Not a fade, but it's blue and silver.

Interesting to see all the Coors Light bikes posted. I'll have to get mine outside for a photo. Hope that StephenCL will post his CL bikes as well as a Sierra Nevada or two.

I can't recall the name of the woman's team off the top of my head but you are right...we supplied bikes to a woman's team back then with some top talent on it.

We also supplied a number of smaller regional teams but they typically got stock sizes that went through the production shop and I had little to do with them.

I recently bought a Serotta CSi that had a decal for the Barbara Heeb women's championship 1996. I researched and found this picture of her. I think Serotta sponsored her Swiss team back then.

I doubt that will be my last one. A Legend. Maybe another CSi. Maybe a Duetti.
Dig this paint scheme.

In 1994, I hosted Greg Orovitz for some spring crits in the Southeast. He brought his Coors Light Serotta. Len P sent kits to the house for Greg and Gary Mulder. His bike had campy ergo with the right shifter being a Sachs (made by campy) and a sizeable dent in the top tube. We went for rides and a few times swapped bikes and he rode my Litespeed while I rode the Serotta. It was a very solid ride but the shifting was annoying. IIRC, the Sachs branded stuff was shimano spaced for 8 speed.

2001 CSi with an F1 fork and TdF lugs that was sourced and built with the help of a couple of Paceliners...Campag 10-speed parts courtesy of my parts bin. One of the most nimble and best handling bikes that I’ve ever owned.

The fleet….

Seeing all these nice builds might get me motivated to line up my fleet of Serotta, Dave Kirk & Kelly Bedford bikes for a family picture😉

Fair enough, haven't read the whole thread, but I'm reminded of the fact that when I joined it was the Serotta Forum, Jack Brunk was in top form and the discussion was about road bikes and race bikes. It's nice looking a a collection of old bikes, but this simply does not reflect where the forum is at.

Of course, unless you need to debate the merits of Shimano v SRAM v Campagnolo once per year the news gets a bit stale, too.

Times they change, and I have less interest in whether a 35 or a 42c tyre is right for me and no interest whatsoever in whether electronic shifting is right for a gravel bike.

What happens in the sales department reflects this shift also.

If I remember properly, you're going to need a pretty wide angle lens.

It was this forum that turned me on to Serotta. I ain't parting with either of mine. The best part of this forum is the chance to get more of them muahah.

I love this bike so much. The purple is dope, came with a painted frame pump and it rides so, so nicely. Rocks corners with precision, is comfy like nothing else for long/all day rides. I have Nova Special X that I really like as well that fits 32mm that's now my commuter/trainer steed.

Colorado with bi-lam lugs

This is my second Serotta. A Colorado with bi-lam lugs. My first was a CSi that suffered a cracked dropout, which was a very sad day. Two of the best handling bikes I have ridden. More crappy pics in this post.

Technically that's a Colorado II I think. The run of CIIs started when they switched to Columbus tubing, 1990 I think. Here's mine.
