My gravel ride...

Since pic was taken, changed seatpost to match stem (Zipp SL Service Course), added 54T DT hub star ratchet, and changed the bar tape to a very swanky Cinelli set from eBaumann!

no and no. The ibis is a rad bike unless you want fenders. I ride with a buddy who has one and he is loving it. Watching him ride on this bike compared to his old gravel bike (a Gaint) I do notice he is faster and attacks the trail more. Could be the 27.5 2.1 tires.....

Confused too. How do you find the Ibis vs the Mosaic? I'd have thought they overlapped and might be redundant.

I never ridden an Ibis. My friend who I ride with on Tuesday does. I ride a mosaic.

First ride on a new gravel/cross/? bike I snagged off the Big n Tall Facebook group:

It flat out rips. Every bit as stiff as my Emonda SLR in the BB, but tolerable over the rocky stuff too - and that was with 33c mud tires at 40psi. I do understand why people like discs in the mud...didn’t die though, so it’s all good.

finally!

good job angry pal.

not a gravel bike per se although the good people in Giant in their infinite wisdom was smart enough to make room for at least a 32mm tires on their Defy series that has what they called an Endurance Geometry.

It rained last night and a bit this morning, that's what causing all these mess.

Nuthin a good O' sponge and some car wax wash can't handle

Post ride 15-min clean up routine:
1. Rinse off with hose
2. Sponge and soap
3. Rinse
4. Blower
5. Lubricate
6. Put back on stand

Finished this build last night. Custom ti breakaway frame, eTap hydro, beater wheelset. 21lbs with pedals and cages. Loads and loads of fun playing with anodizing and blasting. Once I bleed the brakes I’m ready to roll.
