Scott sold me a pair of track wheels and a crank. I expressed concern that they be packaged well. Scott proceeded to make a well designed crate out of masonite and poplar. Incredible care and attention that went way beyond the norm. Of course, all arrived safe and sound. The parts are excellent and were well described.
Thanks, Scott!

csiowner, a great seller

I purchased a custom bike from csiowner. The short story is that the frame got damaged in transit & FedEx denied the claim since packaging may have been the problem. After taking the bike to Joe Bell's shop, it was repaired and the paint touched up. It looks great, but I had to foot the bill. Csiowner took it upon himself to compensate me. I'm happy, and anyone here should feel confident to do business with this guy. Secondary lesson: Filing a claim with FedEx is long and difficult. They put you through the hoops if the item isn't new, and didn't come from a retail merchant.

I just received a frame from thwart. He did a great job packaging it and I'm very happy with the transaction. However, I had a near-miss with fedex today as well. This is the 2nd time they left my package at my front door with no one home, AND I left instructions ON MY DOOR not to do so. Luckily my brother came home within a few minutes and brought the frame inside. The first time around someone probably snatched it up my tea posey (christmas gift to my mom, that didn't go over well). I live in an apartment building with 180 units, in NYC. I called and filed a complaint with fedex. Hope your situation gets resolved! good luck.

I also received a rear derailleur from user: "iampoor" -- very easy to deal with.

Yakstone bought my Strong roadbike and it was a smooth transaction. Quick payment, good communication and an all-around good guy. Deal with confidence!

LH2 - I purchased Larry's Strong - smooth transaction, timely shipping, well packed and the rig was exactly as described.
Larry is a stand up guy.

upon my request to trade my 42's for 43 sidi geniuses, he offered up a pair that he wasn't using all that much for next to nothing. good karma, will 'pay it forward' in one way or another.

Bought and sold many times here without a problem.
My latest purchase was a C50 from Protege55 last week.
The Cat had the bike at Fedex within 2 hours of closing the deal. I hadn't even cut a check by then. Never mind waiting for it to clear.
Bike arrived better than described.

My favorite place to do business.
Now will someone buy the Time VXR that I just listed.
Dan

Thanks to 130R for selling me a cap quickly. In addition, thanks to Ryun for selling me a new fork, and lonewolf48 for purchasing my jerseys.

And to avalonracing for purchasing my Ritchey stem after it met his expectations

Good times to be had by all

Thanks to...

I would like to thank ahumblecycler for the stem, the accurate description, the follow up and the great packing job!

and

A special thanks to Like2rideFar. I PayPal'd him decent sum for something that never made it to me (nice work USPS ). Sean was completely stand up, took responsibility for it, (as it never made it to me) and he refunded the money without complaint or suspicion. I didn't see him race but I think that he probably deserved his big win at Killington.

sorry for the delay

I've sold a few things on the forum and purchased a few items. A few months ago I sold some wheels to Bob Paradise, he was extremely happy with them. Recently i sold him a few tubulars and I was really late getting them to him. I offered him a few extra dollars for the inconvenience.

Hopefully there are no hard feelings and he is happy with the quality of the items. Anyway, this forum is important to me and I appreciate being a part of this community.

Happy cycling, Bill forrest

Great to hear. Now... it's my turn.

Just bought a Ritchey WCS carbon seatpost from qjetha. It arrived today, and exactly as described. He was a true pleasure to deal with.
