1960s era Cinelli model B for $800 in Ft Worth

There’s what appears to be a 1960s era Cinelli model B on the Ft Worth Craigslist for $800:

https://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/bi...623351817.html

There isn’t a size listed but it looks like a 52-53 cm to me…

how does one verify a Pina made by Dario?

I love those shamals--had them on my 1st C40 and it was the first fast wheel I ever had and made a unique 'thwang' on rare Indiana pot holes I hit when i was visiting my folks (took the bike with me to visit--and potholes were not rare, but rarely I could not avoid them)

I'd be a buyer if it was a Banesto

The internet has told me that this model w tig welds and that seat cluster has his hands in it - literally or just the design? Dunno.

Local sachs. $1000 Canadian.

I don’t have capacity to pack it up but I could probably pick up and drop at a shop to ship.

Service Course Demos - June 2023 edition

https://theservicecourse.cc/blogs/pa...nd-ex-rentals?

The Service Course is offering up for sale another batch of their demo/rental bikes. Guessing the Bastion might be of interest to a few here.

Things are a little murky about these. I know years ago I sent photos of a similar bike and Dario said he didn't it build it. I say similar because I don't recall if this one and that one are identical.

Whoa, that is tempting. I wish it was longer in the TT measurement.

EU 7K for a Mosaic frameset? The Bastion looks like a bargain in comparison.

Vintage Serotta Road Bike 57cm Dura Ace 7400 Hand Made in USA SLX - $1,500

Vintage Serotta Road Bike 57cm Dura Ace 7400 Hand Made in USA SLX - $1,500
Up for sale is this beautiful Early Serotta Lugged road bike hand built by Ben Serotta in the USA.

This is one of his earlier frames, before he was having custom tubesets drawn and I was told that this is an SLX tubeset.

I purchased this bike from NYCyclique years ago and it has been a wall hanger ever since - so it remains in excellent condition. I did just do a tune up on it and it rides fantastically well. Steel is real!
https://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/b...622147011.html
Features 8 speed Dura Ace 7400 Groupset with STI Brifters, front and read derailleurs, hubs and cranks. The cockpit is a Nitto stem and drop bars. Velo Orange headset. Mavic rims. Maxxis Refuse tires. The bars have just been freshly wrapped with brand new gel cork tape and cork plugs, and a brand new Turbo saddle has been installed so it is ready to be ridden or displayed. It is in excellent condition with a few minor paint blemishes but absolutely no dings/dents or other damage whatsoever. Would make a fantastic addition to a vintage/MIUSA bike collection.
