imo Rob is one of the best builders in the US right now. Very innovative guy. He also happens to be a super nice guy and one of the most professional people I have worked with. Of course, I am biased because I have one of his bikes. In the ideal world I would have him build me one of his grav

I paid a bit less than that for my road frame and that did not have a custom fork (Enve 2.0)... if that is complete its a crazy deal, if its just the frame its still a fair deal.... but of course value is perceived differently by people so ymmv

Brand new Ritchey Timberwolf (small and med only, sadly) for $1298, with "incredibly fine micro cracks" in the clear coat. This bike shreds.

https://www.excelsports.com/main.asp...jor=2&minor=40

Really nice value with SLX hydro, SRAM 1x11, modern geo, and a long travel fork.

A small portion of the late Mike Barry collection has gone up on eBay, I am confident there is much more to come however here is a start, if you are looking for vintage parts don't miss out:
https://www.ebay.com/sch/bicycle_spe...p2047675.l2562

Another collection making an appearance on eBay is a portion of the collection of the late Jeff Archer, owner of First Flight Bikes in Statesville NC. He was a prolific collector of all things bicycle with a huge focus on early mountain bikes and was killed in 2016 by a drunk driver as he walked along the roadside with his dad and son. Look here: https://www.ebay.com/sch/juls514/m.h...p2047675.l2562

Regarding Mike Barry's bike's on ebay, I remember seeing the two Rotrax bikes at Cirque in 2005 when they won the award for Best British bikes. Mike was very proud of those bikes, particularly the restoration he had done on them, although not much was required as I recall. If I were still collecting/buying, those would be the two that would catch my interest, although there are others that are very nice as well. It's a shame to see Mike Barry's and Jeff Archer's lifetime passion being sold like this, but that's the way of the world. Those bikes meant something to them.

From the Jeff Archer sale - someone needs to buy this and do a full ride report.
