It's a weird day and time to do it, but anyone have any Tony Parker remembrances?

Last vestige of the Duncan-Manu-Parker Spurs is gone.

If the Warriors can pull this game off tonight, it feels like it's going to go 7.

I just remember young Parker as a whirling dervish making absurd passes and putting that Pistons team in the dumpster. And then ruining poor Boobie Gibson forever in that Cavs final with Baby LeBron getting swept.

Young Parker you could not stay in front of. Guy could go by anyone he wanted at will.

LOL espn has the warriors -1.0

There’s no way they should be favorites to win the game tonight.

I agree. We have no idea what Durant will give them. Beyond that, even if both teams were completely healthy and we knew exactly what was coming, the game would be pickem or Raps -1.

The mania and anticipation is incredible!

2 more hours....

The series, or tonight's game?

The series. Toronto has too many offensive weapons they can go to. They are not all great every night but enough are. GS can't seem to guard them. If KD plays he will not be full strength. Curry is not consistent enough every night and right now they need big games from him every night. Cousins seems to think he is a point guard and too often just charges into the lane - running over people.

it's do or die.

they are going to feed KD, steph and klay to figure out who can get hot and go from there.

I think it's a perfect analogy. DGP set the standard for excellence for over a decade. Chemistry, camaraderie, and class. Over a decade between their first title together (2003) and their last (2014).

The immediate comparison is Curry/Thompson/Green. For that trio do duplicate the feat, the Dubs would have to be consistently competitive - and win a championship - in 2026. That seems a little farfetched for me. Furthermore, in order to replicate the consistent dominance of Duncan (my favorite player of all time), the main cog of the Warriors (Curry) would have to win a championship 15 years after his first one. Which would be in 2030.

As great as Curry is, I don't see that happening...

Sweet memories of the best trio of all time...

Maybe a few. They were cheering the steal and foul on the other end. When they realized what happened they started cheering “KD KD, KD”
