very cool! Interested to hear more about the 3D printing aspect. That would typically be some kind of composite, resin, etc? Which parts of the bike is that mostly going to?

The printed parts are stainless steel. I print internal cable ports, the seat stay yoke also known as the “y yoke” and the chajnstay yoke. I’ll get some pictures and share a bit more about the reasons for the printed parts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Another Hummingbird built and delivered locally. This one got MRP's Burnt Bronze Shredcote on the fork crown and lower.

Something a little different. This pair of fat bikes are headed for Baja California. The blue bike is for a 5’4” rider. A lot of attention was spent on the crankset and how to minimize the Q factor while working around a 26x4.2” tire.

I also recently delivered a bike for a 6’6” rider. This bike received a 38.1 seat tube to accept a 34.9 seat post and 29x2.8 tires.

Very cool bikes and details! Is that guy in the photo 6'6"? He doesnt look it - that is also a sign that your bike is well proportioned.
His shoes on those pedals make my feet ache. He needs some flat sole shoes! |

Is the standoff for the seat tube bottle bosses so you can slide a really long dropper post in? That's a nice touch.

Yes, he is 6’6”. Unfortunately riding shoes aren’t readily available in his size.

It serves a few purposes. First, yes it does keep the boss out of the seat tube to maximize dropper insertion, it also can be used for a strap to hold tools and a tube, on small bikes it allows a bottle to be used on the seat tube, it kicks the top of the bottle forward creating more space. I’ll post a bike below that highlights this.

This bike is being picked up this week and will be ridden in the MCBC Adventure Revival before heading back to San Diego with its happy new rider. This bike is a 27.5 version of the Hummingbird frame, designed specifically for riders 5’3” and below. This really highlights the value that my seat tube bottle bracket provides. The add space provided by shifting the top of the bottle forward allows the use of a small bottle on the seat tube along with a large bottle on the down tube.

Been thinking about the idea of an MTB to finish my stable. A friend of mine mentioned your work and now I’m intrigued!
