Sorry I missed your response.
So then, I presume you are referring to a steel fork then.
Don’t think I’ve seen a carbon road fork with posts for direct-mount brakes(?)

While I'm not privy to the manufacturing process, I would assume its molded/carbon wrapped over aluminum.

Very cool. Saw that on his insta feed.

How was the finish achieved? Hand brush? Sandblasing? Or something else? I dig it.

Thanks William. Yes, sandblasted and masked. A bit more delicate to scratches, but different nonetheless.

Hello,
what do you think about Dedacciai Stream fork?
Marco use this fork in several titanium frame expecially il Re and Queen.
On tecnical fork spec Deda indicate 25mm tire clearence, what do you think about compatibility with c17 rim and Continental Gp4000S 25mm(real width about 27 mm)?
Thanks

Hello diego83,

Marco uses both Deda and Columbus Futura on a lot of his frames, but is not limited. It all depends on the determined offset for each client.

In the past, a lot of these forks could not handle the widespread desire for larger tires, especially those Conti's, as I agree they balloon out to 27. The new Stream can handle up to 28.

Eric

From Deda's page:

• Type: Full carbon
• Material: Carbon fibre high module T700S
• Finishing: External lamination 3K
• Fork Dropous: Carbon
• Steerer: 1”1/8 top 1”1/2 bottom, length 300 mm
• Fork length dropout to crown: 367 mm
• Rake: 44 mm
• Crown diameter: 56 mm
• Recommended expander: Dedacciai “EXP” 23,5 mm
• Weight: 400 gr
• Maximum Tyre Clearance: 28 mm
