Pinarello Dogma F8 inGamba born

I thought this was a cool F8 with a bit of a unique upbringing as it started life as an inGamba bike. InGamba puts on bike tours, their web site says .....

Ever wondered what your perfect day on the bike would look like? We did too.
InGamba was born from a desire to combine the world's best cycling with the most delicious local food and wine. We've made that dream a reality – and now we want to share it with you.

It began as a pro rider’s dream, sketched out on a restaurant place-mat. The starting point was a simple question: What would a cyclist’s perfect week look like? Away from strict diets and schedules and training programs. Just the bike, a beautiful location and a bounty of the best local food and wine.

That fantasy is now a reality. InGamba offers the equipment and support usually reserved for the sport’s elite athletes with the comfort and service of a luxury getaway. Then it takes that unique combination to some of the world’s most incredible locations before adding the most important ingredient of all: Fun.

An inGamba trip isn’t something you can recreate from a guidebook. We’ve lived our locations and worked with Grand Tour winners – and now we’re using that knowledge to create your dream vacation. This is cycling, but not as you know it. Get ready for an adventure.

https://ingamba.pro/

They sell packages where you can fly to a destination and pick up your new bike to ride there, then bring it home after your trip. I'm guessing that's how this F8 made its way into the USA.

.
.

I got just the frame set and will build it up, some mock up photos.......

Very nice! Great story behind the group.

Is this the one that has the stripped out seatpost bolts?

Yea I kinda like all of the little saying it has on the frame, add on the inGamba theme of enjoying the ride and somehow it all feels more Italian.

Im hoping its not to stiff of a ride for me, it will fit 27/28 tubs with the right brakes so maybe that will not be an issue.

Yes, good memory, one of the seatpost bolts is stuck in there so I have to find a way to remove it, but I enjoy a project.

The Italian is a wee bit off, they should be using the imperativo (don't remember how to say this in English) for the verbs... IMHO.

Should read:

Mangia.
Bevi.
Bici.

InGamba regularly sells through their prior year's tour bikes at a year-end online sale.

My hunch is this bike got sold through that as they do host a few US-based tours.

They moved quite a few of these when the F8s were replaced by F10s. If I had to guess, they'll be selling off their F10s end of this season now that the F12 is coming.

That’s exactly what they do! I did a tour with them in 2017. All I could afford was a decal with my name and country flag. A couple on my trip did buy their Pina they rode for the week.

I’ll never forgot my experience with them that week!
