I like Sagan, but he's been sick over the past month. MSR is so long that endurance is every bit as important as speed. Not sure if Sagan has the endurance after his illness. I think it will come down to a small group slightly off the front of a larger pack.

I would love to see Sagan win it but I just don't know. I like the Alliphilipe and Viviani picks too.

In terms of watching it, I always just VPN the Sporza or Eurosport (Spanish) feed on my burner Mac. In my experience if you stay away from the english speaking streams it works better.

NBC Sport only broadcast races owned by ASO. That means no MSR, no Ronde and no Giro. Bummer.

I agree. He's riding with a ton of confidence right now after a couple more wins at Paris-Nice. Against some of the current best sprinters. I have learned that when I pick a rider, he never wins. So, I have to pick riders that I think have a good chance of winning, but that are not the riders I am cheering for.

Superstition is messed up.

I’d bet it’s tough.

This is my favorite race each year. I hope it produces a worthy winner. None is ever unworthy but some are more spectacular than others. This is a career defining race, matched in prestige in my eyes only by the Ronde and Paris-Roubaix.
