I finished this up Sunday. Originally i had drop bars on this old Univega MTB but it had too much wheel flop. With the commuter bars it evens things out a lot

Well after several years in fixed gear mode it is time to switch to gears for awhile. Several of my parts came from the forum of course. Thank You Colonel
Lloyd and Choke for the parts and advice. Here are some before and after pictures, I hope.

I finished this up for my daughter... I staged it with some (not all) of the things she keeps on her bed before I showed it to her all completed.

I moved a Record 11 group from my ti bike to my CIII.
It rides like a different bike now. Certainly rekindled my affection for this one. (which has always been my favorite anyway)

DT350 disc rear and dynamo disc front laced to Velocity Ailerons....

Followed by OffTheFrontRacing carbon tubulars laced to WI hubs, Lasers/Race spokes...black on black.

Followed by XT CL laced to Velocity Blunts

Followed by Record laced to TB-14

Followed by Paul SS hubs laced to another set of Ailerons

Not all today, but things are good, wheelbuilding wise. Had a GREAT 2017, looking forward to another good year in 2018..

THANK YOU to all who chose me to build their wheels or OVH their levers.

Peter

Finishing up an Eddy Merckx LXM build with Campy Veloce, and working on a Lemond Zurich with a mostly Campy Chorus 3x10 drivetrain and tubulars.

A 1988 Cannondale touring bike is inbound, which currently has 6 speed DT shifters. All consumables will need to be replaced. Has 27" rims, will probably lace the hubs (if they're good) to 700c rims and use Compass 32mm tires. Would like to use suntour command shifters but not sure if they will work with 6 speed SIS.

Just finished rebuilding this over the holidays and rode a few miles over New Year day. Frameset and cabling are new. The rest of components were transferred over from an old bike.

I took a chance as I didn't know anything about Enigma. And I'm happy with the result. Frameset/bike was solid both for climbing and descent. Really looking forward to many more miles on this baby.
