I tried some Leyenda del Milagro, 100% De Agave, Silver last night. Not at all like the kerosene that I tried the first time around. Very smooth and mellow. I don't know where it stands in the grand scheme of 100% Agave Tequila's, but it was darn good.

A friend of ours runs a mexican restaurant and owns an agave farm back home in mexico.

Here are just some that he turned us on to. There are literally hundreds to chose from.

Herradura Silver (excellent smooth flavorful clean taste: neat or in a margarita)

Espalon (like Herradura Silver)

Gran Centenario Anejo
(aged in oak for sipping)

Chamugas (served neat - hard to find -- too much could make you a little crazy)

William

"the 50+ year old cashier, a women trying to dress like she was 18 with the black chocker, tight jeans, studded black belt, black 80's hair band do, was wearing a white Cuervo T-shirt that was way to small and showing a midriff with belly piercing that no customer should be forced to look at.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT TEQUILA?

Are there any good tasting brands out there?"

I would have to go with the good taste of the cashier. You've got me excited. I'm going to the liquor store right now! Not to buy tequila, but in hope of seeing the 50+ cashier. It does'nt take much to get me excited.

Thanks for the tip.

I'm doing a full-blown comparison test. Report to follow.

Two words:

Don Augustin

OK, two more:

Don Julio

I concur, Dave.

Cabo Wabo has the best Van Halen cover band on the planet.

Cheap margs and hot hot women.

Never bought the bottled stuff.

Nice one on the Reidels! Love my Reidel bordeaux and chablis glasses.
