If my two cats find out that I've been looking at this thread I'm going to be in big trouble...

This is one of those threads that really needs a like button. Maggie hardly ever gets on the furniture, but she is enjoying the couch today. My wife says Maggie is a champion sleeper.

Our Zelda is mostly cattle dog and is incredibly smart. she is happiest when on short term assignments. Stealing balls is right up her alley!

Meet Heidi a 9 month old Bernadoodle .)

Good for you for taking her on. As mentioned by others, it is a commitment of both time and money, but the return just can't be measured. Good luck, but give both you and her months (6, maybe) to adjust to your new lives. I got a rescue that, after 13 months, started to really settle in. She was never a problem, but you could tell she went from being here to living here.

As a total aside, I feel bad for these "doodle" dogs. Designer dogs that the shelters get a LOT of because people think the of the dog as an accessory to their lives and not as something that requires effort.

Happy Vibes - Forum Dogs

Here’s “Alberto”.
He is a mixed breed, according to DNA testing he is about 90% French Bulldog, 10% Boston Terrier.
Great little dog and never ever barks…amazing!

Lexi

Just a typical day/evening for Lexi.
If there's an afterlife I definitely want to come back as a Golden Retriever living out in the country.
