Nipple Shuffler/Sorter recommendation

I feel like I got a 3d printed one from here. It has a tray for lubing them.

I always wanted to copy the wood one that you can buy, but that's a lot of work.

To lube the nipples, I use a screen they sell for sink drains and a ceramic cup I got at Goodwill that fit perfect. I let them sit in the oil until I'm ready, then dump them out into the shuffler.

I 3D printed one but I don't find it super useful, honestly. I sumuse spoke prep and prefer to grease the rim holes (assuming aluminum).

Sorry, don't get it. I have two drip bottles. One with boiled linseed oil, the other with Mobil One. I lace, some threads exposed, drop of linseed oil on threads, then drop of oil between nipple and rim...no mess, no fuss..

Keep nipples on little ziplock bags, one silver, one black...

No 'trays' with oily nipples...

I am possibly misremembering that the second piece is for lubing. The sorter is nice, but I can see why someone who has been building wheels for a while wouldn't see the need. It saves a few seconds per nipple, at the most. I have been building for 50 years though, hard to believe.

I have one of the very first trays and inserter tools from WF, and it changed my life. I think it’s bamboo? I don’t build a whole lot of wheels any more, but it served me well for thousands of wheels over more than a decade. Definitely one of those most-memorable tool acquisitions.
