The pictures really could have done a better job of showing the bike. I wanted to see it, but the glare and the shadows made it tough.

Edit: and in the one last picture where you can see it, it's a bit of a "meh."

Enve has done an amazing job with the geometry of the Melee, Mog, and Fray. So many different fork rakes -- the Melee has 5 rakes in different sizes!

However, to my eyes, all the Enve bikes are nothing to look at. They look okay. Not something I hate but not something I love either.

Chicken egg, no? In this case the Allroad came first, the bigger clearance gravel after, no?

2015 Carl Strong made me an all road, except I asked for better clearance. So it fits a 2.1x650b or probably a 42x700. I've gone max 40x700. This is a shortcoming VS gravel bike that fit 44+. But this was 9 years ago too.

So isn't gravel an allroad [initially] that got more clearance?

I find the current trend of reducing tire clearance by 5mm to 7mm on gravel bikes and calling them "all-road" bikes amusing. We're basically back to the same thing that they called a gravel bike in 2016. Meanwhile "endurance" road bikes are coming from the other direction, and shipping with 40mm of clearance, and at least one team is riding Factor gravel bikes at Paris-Roubaix (albeit setup with 28mm tires).

The Melee and Mog are made in China, I assume this one is too. The Custom Road is made in Utah.
