Yeah, of course depending on what you expect from a DD. It's far from ideal in many situations, like carrying a bike around

In my case I was not going to get a car like this to drive it once a week. I drive it everyday when in the US as this is my only car here. When it's less than 40F and wet watch out !

I loved my gt3. not the fastest car i ever had but everything was so driver focused. Everything about it was so razor sharp. Amazing.
No mounts for bike racks and the movable rear wing made the seasucker rack a tough fit so I tearfully parted ways for something that was fun and could carry a few more bikes

My 2004 GT3 had set screws under tabs in the roof channels and a very nice attachment system...super bombproof, and the best I have ever used in a roof rack. My Speedvagen probably holds the land speed record @ 120 miles an hour on an open road.

As much as I want to flat out disagree with this, certainly something with an automatic transmission, a little more soundproofing, and a better stereo might be a better daily driver, but the trade-offs for me were always worth it. My commute to work was generally highly entertaining, enjoyable, and fun. There are probably a few cars out there that offer so much performance yet are so tractable in daily driving.

Getting back to the OP’s experience: it is a stellar car, but probably a subpar motor pace car, since it is probably +/- 42 inches tall and wouldn’t really block wind above most peoples handlebars.

^^^ OP here.

Yeah, I think I got a better draft off of a golf cart the day before!

It was all just good fun. Just the thumbs up and the chance to be silly on a bike like I was a kid again!

And I have no idea what most of are even talking about. I'm so not a car guy, driving a '12 Camry!

Joel

That's absolutely amazing.

When I can graduate from my Boxster to a 911 there will definitely be a roof rack!
