Canari Bike Clothes

Anyone recommend Canari Bike Jerseys? Kohls has them pretty cheap($20-25) for short sleeve and $28 for long sleeve and I am curious if they are equally cheap in quality?

rei sells canari as well - never tried them as i somehow believed them to be an inferior product - but i am not sure where i got that impression.

Our team used canari kit this year. Absolute garbage. Think 10x worse than knock off kit from ebay.
And their customer service is even worse. We ordered their "best" kit. We tried their fit kit before ordering. The crap we got was , in some cases, 3 inches larger than the same fit kit size. Their response: "No, you're wrong. It's exactly the same as the fit kit" (even though they never even looked at what they sent us). Avoid.

Decent for me

I have a couple of their jerseys. I think they are ok. Fit a little snug but I prefer them that way. Have done plenty of long, hot rides in them and find they work just fine for me.

I had one Canari jersey. It was mediocre. The fit was actually good. I liked the pockets and the zipper was nice. The quality of the material was poor. It got saggy and lost elasticity sooner than most others that I have owned.

I'm a cheapskate and try out a lot of bargain stuff. The Canari kit I've owned has been just a little too cheap.

I have some Canari stuff. It's less expensive and of lower quality. I find them to be a good value for the jackets because I tend to trash stuff. Depends on your budget and if you want to impress people. Rapha is nicer of course, but 5x nicer?

I spend more $$ where it counts: my crotch.

One of the Canari jerseys I owned definitely fit like a sack. An enormous sack, so it's possible I bought it a size or 3 too big. The other two Canari jerseys I own (still) fit fine...they're definitely not a race-cut jersey, so if you want something super-snug you'll want to size down. Way down. But the fact that these two jerseys are still in excellent shape after 9 or 10 years of use says a lot for the brand.

Yep. Definitely not race fit.
