Any more input a la floxy’s? Exactly the kind of feedback I’m after. Don’t imagine opinion will be universal, but maybe regarding this one small specific point (sole flex of 3-bolt road shoes as relates to comfort —and only comfort — while pedaling) there might be some sort of overall consensus. Or not.

Agree with Floxy - as long as the shoes fit, insoles are correct, etc. I have never found more flexible shoes to be more comfortable.

In fact, I have found the opposite - when I can feel flex, and feel my feet bending around the pedal if you will, this feels less comfortable to me.
