I just got a selle x2. Got it for a good deal, they sell some saddles with minor defects for cheap. The selle is uglier than the brooks but hopefully will be more confy. That said I do find brooks comfortable (minus the cambium, not for me)

The best looking leather saddle and also very comdortable is the berhoud. However its super expensive and hard to find used.

I like honey and dark brown Brooks but if those are black highlights in the paint a black saddle might tie in nicely.

Sounds like you're riding on soft tissue. This is the one Brooks that I ever liked: B17 Sprinter. Some kind of re-issue of a 1927 model. I think very handsome. Not light, but very narrow at ~132 mm, and it fits my anatomy with very good support for my sit bones which I prefer. The bike is gone, but I kept the saddle. However, I ride a particular Selle saddle on all my bikes these days, so the saddle sits in a box.

I agree, a C17 in natural would look great with the orange. Matching tape would be a plus.

My guess, based on your current saddle, is that the brooks leather saddle will be a challenge to get comfortable on. The B17 is their most popular by a long shot. If you're set on brooks, I'd consider a Cambium, both for comfort and aesthetics.

Brown I think...

...with that frame, but sometimes I swap my black and browns around and think, “hey they work either way.”

What are those?^. I’m open to anything as long as it’s a classic looking leather saddle like a brooks..brand doesn’t mean anything to me as long as it’s durable comfortable and looks the part. Great stuff here as always thanks pl
