What in the world did I do here to earn this dreadful reputation?

Maybe I need to post more often about riding tires with the threads showing.

Spent a lot of time in my younger days racing Cal and C&C 25's on the Great Lakes, if the border was open you'd need one less sailing mate.

You didn't do anything...And you don't have any 'reputation'....

Must be early morning or late/wine/beer fueled forum time.

BUT, for the OP..I spent more than a few days 'haze grey and underway', but unfortunately I don't know anything about 'sailing' or I would jump on this. Little trip down the coast, probably in sight of land the whole way..seems like it would be a blast..

Ismael would be proud.

If the borders were open, I'd also be there in a heartbeat. I'm just barely north of you on Vancouver Island. I've done the Vic-Maui, Swiftsure and Van-Isle and have been aching to get back on a sailboat in the PNW. I'm also pleasantly plump and serve well as rail-meat.

C'mon Justin, open the borders, I gotta help my fellow PLers!

I'm tempted by your offer, however my only real sailing experience was aboard a 48" ketch in the BVI for two weeks, listening to the funeral of Bob Marley on the local radio. The "Devious" had a Panamanian registry, we sailed for sure and enjoyed many of the experiences that the islands offer.

Is the PNW similar to the above?

Jwin, if the OP looks anything like this I'd be sure to take some extra provisions and a good PLB with fresh batteries.

OT - PNW - anyone wanna sail?

Hmm, I really miss the ocean. But I nearly died at sea, so I’m probably not the good luck charm you want to have on board, unless your version of good luck is a Coast Guard basket hoist rescue.
