Had a rippin good time on this yesterday - enjoyed it more than my departed EVIL - and got many miles of rough and wild singletrack done without a hiccup - but I’m a fiddling mess of soreness this morning.. getting old(er) sux!

Last weekend I got out to Deerfield . . .
. . . with CNYrider and AngryScientist among others to enjoy (and fine tune) the routes I put together for the Gravel Weekend tour on July 2-3-4. There were a few spots that will likely be skipped *unless the group wants to do them) and afew more spots with cool stuff that will be added. More photos are HERE.

Grateful for my midnight special that happily tackles all surfaces on the same ride in Prescott area:
Top of a ten mile technical gravel climb:  Middle of goldwater lake mtb loop…pristine single track for miles:  Return climb to the camp site, 5 miles of switchbacks on blazing hot pavement topping off at 6100’:

Spent last week in LA visiting family and getting in a lot of miles in the Angeles. These photos are from a 22 mile, 9200' loop that strings together the summits of Mt Wilson, Mt Lowe, and Mt Disappointment. Great day in the saddle and loving this bike.
